Your event awaits.

At the Welch House, you will enjoy the historic vibes of this spacious home. Located on 2 acres in West Point, Georgia, the Welch House is a beautifully restored Greek revival home with many unique touches. The home was originally built in 1923, with 18 rooms and 12-ft celings. It has a long drivway, double front stairs and upstairs balcony. Your private event will be the talk of the town on our wonderful "L" shaped sunporch.  The lovely portico styles with slate floors, lattice walls and beautiful outdoor accent lights. The home also features brick floors, eight  fireplaces, heart pine floors and beautifully landscaped grounds with separate garden areas showcasing a fish pond, fountain and historic gazebo. Perfect for a back-yard wedding or reception.

The exterior of the white frame two-story hilltop house is unusual as it is covered with the usual wide boarding but planned to look half the size.  Each wide board used was planned by special order at a planning mill in Louisiana to look narrow.  Wide porches almost surround the entire house and double French doors are placed in the living room and sunroom to open out to the porches for parties.

The Welch House is listed on the national historic registry and all donations are used to maintain it’s historic nature.
